TransTechnical came to design101 with an interesting challenge. They wanted a website to promote a brand new product - The 'Active' cycle shelter.

The 'Active' Cycle Shelter had many unique selling points; it is very robust, is available in any colour and made to measure to fit any space. The site architecture was designed to promote these key features.

The product was still only at prototype development stage so there was no actual shelter built to photograph. So, design101 decided to develop the concept of using a 3d CAD drawing to display the product design.

A 3D render was generated using SolidWorks, each view was exported as an image and then a Flash gallery was created that allowed the product to be rotated and zoomed to give the viewer a 360 degree view of the final product.
